It is encouraged to visitors, tourist and community people to obey and understand the policy for safety and security together.

Mount Rinjani National Park staff with community carrying out Rinjani forest fire suppression

On Friday/October 04, 2019 around 11.00 a.m., the staff of Mount Rinjani National Park in Kembang Kuning village Get reports from the community that there has been a forest fire on Rinjani South Peak slope. The community sees the high-soaring smoke of its location in Timbanuh village.

Based on the report, Mount Rinjani National Park officers immediately coordinate with the community to perform fire suppression. The combined team was formed. The team is comprised of the Society of the Fire Care (MPA) and the Gunung Rinjani National Park officer with a total of 10 people with details of 8 people from the Timbanuh village and the plantation village and 2 MR. Mount Rinjani officers. The team went to the fire location at 15.00 p.m.

To get to the location of the fire, the team took quite a long time because of the steep terrain condition and difficult to pass so that the team arrived at the burned location the next day Saturday/05 October 2019.

Upon arriving at the fire site, the team immediately extinguishing. Thanks to the effort, prayer and teamwork, the fire was successfully extinguished.

Based on the results of the analysis, the widespread location of the burned is about 150 hectares with burned vegetation in the form of grass savanna, tree-huddle, Sentigi Mountain, Mountain Orchid, Picanium, and fir tree. Fires are suspected to occur due to natural activity of the rock avalanche from the south peak of Rinjani causing sparks and burning grass savanna.

Mount Rinjani National Park Officer provides a highest appreciation for the participation of all parties in this forest fire fighting activity. Thanks to the community who have provided information about the fire so that an immediate blackout effort can be made and forest fires are not widespread. Beware of forest fires, let’s use fire wisely and in control to prevent fire-free forest.

Trekking trail on Mount Rinjani reopens with restrictions – Official Announcement from the Rinjani National Park Board.

The trail on Mount Rinjani in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), was officially opened on Friday June 14, 2019 after being closed after the earthquake in Lombok in August last year.

“We surveyed the area more than five times to ensure safety before opening the trekking trail,” said the head of Mount Rinjani National Park Agency.

“Since last year’s earthquake, local residents have been unable to work because they depend on providing services to climbers,”

However, climbers are prohibited from visiting the peaks of Rinjani and Segara Anak Lake, and will only be allowed to trek to the Plawangan Senaru and Sembalun craters (Plawangan Crater 2 Days 1 Night) OR Mount Rinjani trekking package 3 Day 2 Night listed above.

The number of pedestrians allowed is also limited. A maximum of 500 people (divided into all 150 entry gates / gates / day), including porters and guides, are permitted to enter four official routes per day, namely Sembalun in East Lombok, Senaru in North Lombok, Aik Berik in Central Lombok and Timbanuh in North Lombok.

A new line has been opened to Mount Rinjani
For now the climbs starting from Sembalun and Senaru have been closed publicly, due to landslides due to the earthquake in July and August, and reopen on 19th of April 2019
We recommend that you start trekking from Benang Stokel the village of Aik Berik, Central Lombok, which is a new trekking trail to Mount Rinjani which opened on November 19′ 2018

In the meantime we cannot go down to Segara Anak Lake, because the route is still being repaired as a handle because of the steep path
It is not possible to climb to the top of Mount Rinjani 3726 meters, but we can climb up to a height of 3000 meters namely Summit Kondok

Day 1: Start hiking from Benang Stokel – night campsite ground at Pelawangan Benang Stokel
After breakfast at 06.00 Start from the campsite, and get ready for trekking after registration.
We will start trekking from Benang Stokel or Aik Berik Village, we will go through tropical forests and savanna, after 2 hours from our initial zone, we will find post 1 (Monte 800M) and enjoy with Rinjani endemic and tropical forests. We will continue the journey for 1.5 hours until we find post 2 (Kayuk Malang 1.400M) where your lunch will be prepared. After the break, we will continue to Post 3 (Cemara 1.850M) and then 2 hours with a steep journey to find Pelawangan Batu Belah / Crater Rim (2,600M). Dinner and camping overnight (Breakfast, lunch and dinner).

Day 2: Campsite ground at Pelawangan Benang Stokel – descending to Benang Stokel – transfer to your hotel (end services)
At 7:00 a.m. after breakfast enjoy the panorama and you can also take advantage of the moment with the camera.

About porters or extra porters:
Your porter will bring food, tents, sleeping bags, mattresses, tarpaulins and kitchen utensils and other necessities during the climb to Mount Rinjani, if 2 climbers, the porters we provide are 2 porters and 1 guide but, not including carrying your luggage to the porter.

Extra porter
If the luggage is very much needed for personal needs to Mount Rinjani, then there is an additional porter / extra port fee, the additional porter fee is IDR 175,000 per porter per day, so that during the climb on Mount Rinjani it will be a total of 2 DAYS extra porters to IDR 350,000 for one porter. The load on our porter’s shoulder is fixed at 20 kilos, yes … the porter will follow you everywhere during the climb on Mount Rinjani.
Payments are made directly to our porters after climbing activities arrive at Aik Berik.

About other your luggage:
